Construction of the New AAM is well under way! Crews from local and regional construction companies are mobilized on our new site and are working to complete the project on schedule and on budget for a grand opening in summer 2014.
Don’t forget to come by to take a look when you’re in the neighborhood. The project site is fully visible via peepholes cut in the walkways along South Spring Street and East Hyman Avenue. From June 2012–13, the covered pedestrian walkways featured artist Kay Rosen’s site-specific project Construction Zone. Beginning June 27, 2013, a specially commissioned mural by artist Dave Muller will be on view.
